Triumph street triple r 675 SP ENGINEERING Exhaust sound
These are the SP ENGINEERING Carbon Fiber 300mm long. Really nice cans for the street triple made in the UK a top company to deal with. Also have these on my 2015 Z1000

My Street triple r air filter after a Triumph main dealer service when I bought the bike from them.
Переглядів 2519 годин тому
I bought a Triumph Street triple r, from a TRIUMPH MAIN DEALER with FULL triumph service history. Bike only has 8000 miles and is in as new condition.. Bike in last 6 years has only done around 2000 miles. Was told bike would be serviced before it left them and fully checked over. I asked would the air filter be done and there reply was, they will do it in accordance to the service history ???(...

This is not really a review its just a quick opinion of the bike, Been riding 42 years and have owned well over 100 bikes in this time and ridden more than I have owned. This is a great little bike for all riders not just newbies. I have just ordered a pair of SP Engineering carbon fiber GP exhausts ;). And think I will order a steering damper and Nitron rear shock, see how it go's.

I bought this bike and was hoping it would be a good bike having never even sat on this model before. Anyway bought this from the photos from a dealer. Its a one owner bike with 5000 miles and is only on its second set of tyres. Really is as new. Here is my review after four 250 miles rides on 60mph twisty roads , some 70mph roads and single track roads over the Scottish highlands

Even if this clip makes people make sure there air filter is done that’s all that matters. Lots of people would not even know 99% of the time it’s never done on a sale. For people like me an lots of others that do check there bikes and service them there selves it gets picked up and put right. But for a lot of people that just don't have the know how they trust that when they buy a bike especially from a main dealer it will have had a FULL service and is ready for another year. Shame the world we live in now is all about profit profit profit and customers are just the next months sales targets.

I know that bike as I sold it 5 years ago out of my collection for £4500. It’s been in his collection all this time and only done 500 or so miles. I owned that for 6 years and only rode it twice a year as it was in my person collection. Who ever buys that bike has got a bargain. Market is flat at the moment. He started price at £4250 hand has dropped it 3 times now , he must be short on money or just needs it home because if it was mine it would not be going for any less than 4K it’s a cracking bike.

Just purchased from Currys its going back tomorrow for a refund. Has huge huge static via Bluetooth if you listen carefully. Its either a really old outdated model and the Bluetooth technology is rubbish or bad filtration. Tried to connect it through USB Stick / Wired and it sounds really good. Its good quality sound and deep base. If you connect it through Bluetooth it will really sound poor if you know your sound quality. Real shame have also tested the same songs on other BT Speakers and the static is not there. So remember if Bluetooth low quality static will bother you stay away. 😢 This is not manufactured by JVC its made by some third party company under licence to JVC and exclusive to Currys.

If you want Bose quality you better spend more than £150. And if you have to listen carefully to spot it instead of listening to the music maybe its not for you. I use mine most days when training and i do not notice anything at all. And like lots of other people that have bought it, its great for the money. and if you are looking into things like who makes it maybe its not the system. This is a very good system for the money and 99.9% of people will have no idea what you are talking about as they will be listening to the music and having fun .....

I agree with you its good value for money. But no way there should be this much static and distortion through Bluetooth. I have a Goodmans and JBL both have no static. In fact the Goodmans from B&M is almost good as the JBL low budget or not. When purchasing in Currys there is no way you can test the sound quality with all the noise around. I will go back to Currys and test the one they have on display. Possibly my one is faulty... I just purchased it 2 days ago.

It's a good clean bike but don't think you will get what you want for it, I sold the same one same colour with 27k o ebay 7 day auction and only just got £2150 and the guy that bought it was only buying it to strip it for parts as it was in amazing condition.

It was probably me that bought your bike. I remember getting it cheap . I have sold this twice over last 7 years first time £3750 and last time £4000 in this condition it’s worth it.

I have bought 3 more this week. I also sold my yellow one last month for £3995. Good ones do command good money. I do remember you bike could not believe I won it for that price. It sold way to cheap but I am guessing it was wrong time of year to be honest

Great review. I have an 08 XJR. May I ask what exhaust you have on there? Looks and sounds the biz.

It’s the danmoto carbon fibre exhaust and has the baffle in, which gos in the bottom end. Hope this helps . Off top of my head it was about £150 new

Is the fuel filter not on other side ( near the tank) ?

The fuel filter is where I said it was or I would not have said it. I changed it myself and that’s the side it’s on

Good review 👍 Question: I’m still currently using my 16 year old Al KO T15 92HD. When I bought it the dealer told me that if I fitted the mulcher (supplied) that I should only use the ride on at a very slow speed. Is this still the case with this newer model ? I ended up having to buy an AL KO deflector that could be mounted on the back (100 quid back then) as that would allow me to cut at a more practical speed. Seems extras don’t come at a sensible price with this company. Cheers 😁

We only use the mulcher and we go at full speed with no problems at all. We just put power to full and put foot to the floor

Just one question. In hot summer trafic jam.. how do they cool with no air moving a lot? Is there a warning light?
